How I Transformed My Skin - NIP + FAB

I wanted to share with you guys my new found obsession. Which for like the first time ever isn’t some revolutionary new lipstick or foundation – its skin care!

I have been using a mixture of the NIP + FAB products for the last few weeks and I have honestly noticed such a DRAMATIC change in the texture, look and quality of my skin! NIP + FAB is a UK based brand that has recently made its way over to us here in Australia and is being stocked exclusively at Target stores.

(International Stockists include: Target, Boots, ASOS, Ulta, Amazon, NIP + FAB Website)

It’s essentially high end skin care at drug store prices (and lets face it – drug store prices always get my heart beating with adrenaline!) Kylie Jenner also uses it? What the! She has oodles of money and is using something that is considered as ‘affordable beauty’ ? Lets just say I was very intrigued!
So below I have listed the products I use and I what I think of them. Enjoy!
(This is fairly text heavy post but I had a lot to say!)

Deep Cleansing Fix (AUD $17.95)

This is like magic in a tub. Since when does a jar of white cream have 6 uses? Umm clearly I have been living under a rock! So this bad boy can be used in the following ways:

Makeup remover – use to remove makeup at night
Deep cleanser – massage into skin to remove dirt and impurities
Deep cleansing mask – to get the really icky stuff out (leave it on for 10 mins then wash off)
Overnight hydrating cream – apply a thin layer overnight and wake up with crazy hydrated skin (trust me – I’ve tried!)
Exfoliator – Apply to face and then use a face washer to gently scrub off
Acne spot treatment – apply to problem spot for deep cleansing and spot removing
Personally my favorite ways to use this is as a regular cleanser, as a 10 minute mask and as an overnight hydrater. Can we also please stop for a second and appreciate how good it smells!!! It includes ingredients such as tea tree and eucalyptus (amongst other goodies) and its so ridiculously refreshing to use in the morning. Hello wake me up!
Active Ingredients: Tea tree, Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil and eucalyptus

Glycolic Scrub Fix (AUD $21.95)
I have to say I was a newbie to Glycolic acid. I come from the KISS method of skin care (keep it simple stupid) but it has pretty much backfired and I have been left with just the stupid component of that saying. Glycolic acid is a re-texturiser – it smoothes and retextures the surface of your skin which gives it an overall brighter and softer look and feel. This one also has Salicylic acid (yep that word that nobody knows how to pronounce) which helps to calm redness and target blemishes. Ok so with all that technical stuff out of the way we can get onto what I actually think of this stuff – And you guessed it IM OBSESSED. Firstly its not overly gritty. Nobody likes a face scrub that is so rough that you end up with more redness than you first went in with! Its soothing, and contains very small microbeads that GENTY exfoliate the surface of your skin without any pain or nasties. I have definitely noticed a visible improvement in the texture and feel of my skin. It looks healthy – I nearly have that ‘healthy vegan’ look about me (I say this while munching down a bag of malteasers). It’s also doing wonders for my acne. It dries them up without drying them out if that makes sense? It also smells amazing, like grapefruit? Like a field of grapefruit on a summers day? Plus lemonade? And a sunset? Whatever it actually is it smells good!
Active Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera

Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads (AUD $29.85)

These little babies comes as hand presoaked pads that you simply just wipe over your face and neck. These ones (obviously) have Glycolic acid in them which as I mentioned above helps to retexture and brighten your skin. Think of it like sanding down a piece of wood with sand paper (except without the pain haha!) to expose the fresh wood underneath.
They also tone and moisturize whilst at the same time settling redness and calming the skin. There’s 60 pads in each jar, the label says they can be used once or twice daily. I have noticed results from using them only once daily and the jar is now going to last me 2 months! And it works out to be less than 50 cents a day – I can afford that!
Active Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Blue Daisy, Witch Hazel, Hyalyronic Acid

No Needle Fix Serum (AUD $44.95)

Ok this stuff is pretty cool – it’s a plumping a volumizing serum that also softens and hydrates your skin. Its basically aimed at blurring out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and drenching your skin with moisture – personally for me I’m all about the moisture side of this product. But that’s because I’m 24 and I’m lucky enough to not yet have fine lines and wrinkles. I apply this (along with the under eye serum which we will talk about soon) every morning prior to applying my makeup. It makes my skin plump and super super super super moisturized an it dries to quite a sticky consistency – which means that I can apply my foundation directly over the top without an additional primer and it glues ot my face ALL DAY!! Clearly not the intended purpose but I do feel like I’ve accidently stumbled upon the best primer ever. And keep in mind that I am an oily girl – and I can still get away with just this under my foundation. That’s a big thumbs up from me! Once again it smells and feels amazing while you apply it. And I do also really like the applicator bottle – one pump covers my entire face without any product wastage!
Active Ingredients: Cellactive, Osilift, Indinyl Ca, Oat Kernal Extract, Garcinia Peel Extract (isn’t Garcinia a weightloss product?)

Dark Circle Fix (AUD $34.95)

This is an undereye serum. I apply a teeny amount of this to my under eye area and brow bone (again prior to applying my makeup). I get crazy eye puffiness when I wake up in the morning (especially if I lie in bed and stare at my phone for 45 minutes – you guys do that too right?) and I have found this serum to be really good at combatting it. It calms the puffiness and it feels like it tightens and hydrates the area – which seems to wake me up (never a bad thing at 5am). After about a week of solid daily use I noticed that my under darkness had also subsided – it’s not completely gone but it certainly has improved. It also triples its actions by fighting premature aging. That’s it I’m sold order me 10 bottles STAT!
Active Ingredients: Red Algae, Tetra Peptides, Shea Butter, Fruit Extracts

Detox Blend Body Wash and Body Lotion (AUD $20.95 + $22.95)

These are pretty fancy as far as shower gels and moisturisers go! They contain Glycolic acid, Lactic acid and Salicylic acid which all work together to resurface, smooth and exfoliate the surface of our skin. I find them to be extremely soothing to use – both in the shower and afterwards. The body wash it soft and non-drying and the moisturizer is very lightweight and does not leave a greasy film on my skin after I apply – I can pretty much get dressed straight after. They smell so good too – like a day spa! They are scented with Green Tea, Tea Tree and Jasmine – which turns out to be a mind boggling mixture that has seen me completely ditch all of my other preloved favourite lotions and potions!

Active Ingredients: Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid,  Lactic Acid, Green Tea, Tea Tree, Jasmine
